If you want to tow heavyweights, we recommend the six-cylinder engine as it offers quicker acceleration times and can handle up to 4500 pounds without breaking a sweat. The Blazer is a great car, but it can’t match the overall skillset of competitors such as Honda Passport and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Where The Blazer Ranks?

  1. Kia Telluride starting at 34,345 dollars
  2. Ford Bronco starting at 30,795 dollars
  3. Hyundai Palisade starting at 34,595 dollars
  4. Jeep Grand Cherokee L starting at 43,520 dollars
  5. Jeep Grand Cherokee starting at 40,120 dollars
  6. Chevrolet Blazer starting at 35,000 dollars

What is New for 2023?

Chevy’s new Blazer is an all-encompassing redesign that completely reworks the SUV. The changes apply to both front and back end designs, with more modern lighting elements for a sleek look. The exterior of the Blazer has a new look with colors that are more modern and vibrant. With options like Fountain Blue, Sterling Gray or Copper Bronze, you can show off your vehicle in style! Options for interior décor have also been improved upon as well – now available on all trim levels is Nightshift Blue which creates an elegant yet sophisticated atmosphere inside any car. The change is made to give it something different from what’s already out there, making them stand apart among others while remaining loyal to its brand identity. The interior of this car is stocked with all the latest tech features, including a 10-inch touchscreen and wireless charging pad.

Pricing & Which One to Buy?

  • 2 LT – 35,000 dollars est.
  • 3 LT – 39,000 dollars est.
  • RS – 43,000 dollars est.
  • Premier – 43,000 dollars est.

We recommend the 3LT trim level, which unlocks a V-6 engine option for those who need more power. The maximum towing capacity goes up from 3500 pounds, with all-wheel drive available at an extra cost of $2700. We’d choose to get a V-6 engine, add on the tow package with its excess power for our needs and then customize it by choosing from one of several bundles. The Sound Technology Package will give us everything we need: 120V outlets so everyone can charge their phone or listen in style; a 360-degree camera system which provides an improved view behind yourself as well! Additional USB ports are available if you want more than just two devices charging at once (perfect idea!), Bose stereo speakers that produce crystal clear sound.

Engine, Transmission & Performance

The Blazer offers a standard 228-horsepower turbocharged 2.0 eight liter four-cylinder engine or an optional 308 HP 3sixteen V6 with nine-speed automatic transmission, which is perfect for any occasion! The Blazer is powered by an impressive, though not too powerful, engine. It offers plenty of torque for driving around town and on Highway duty. But if you’re looking to pass slower traffic or make some fast cuts off the line, then this Turbo-four might not be your best option due to its lazy acceleration times (although those automatic transmissions!).

The V6 in our last test vehicle delivered an outstanding performance. However, with quick-shifting timing, it gave eager drivers like me enough power when needed while still being able to imitate gentle throttle input at all times, which helped ensure safety during rapid turns. The Blazer is not just a great family car; it’s also an excellent choice for rugged terrain. With its four-cylinder engine capable of towing up 1500 pounds and V6 version able to handle 4500 lbs., this SUV will get you where ever needs to go with ease! The RS model has exclusive tuning that makes steering response quick without sacrificing stability or comfort on twisty roads. The Blazer’s standard 18-inch wheel and tire combo were more engaging than the RS model that wore giant 21-inch rims, which thudded over bumpy roads. Thankfully both models remained hushed on even surfaces as well at highway speed. The steering wheel of the Blaser RS was satisfying during intense sessions, yet fluid at a low rate. The firm brake pedal quickly responded to our inputs and brought this test vehicle stop from 70 mph to an impressive 165 feet.

Fuel Economy & Real-World MPG

The all-wheel-drive, V6 edition of the Blazer is rated at 22 mpg city and 29 highway. The Turbo four-cylinder version can get up to 20 mph on our 75mph fuel economy route; however, we haven’t tested it yet, so that number may change when put through an extensive testing regimen like other models in their class do. The Honda Passport and Hyundai Santa Fe are two of the most popular vehicles in their respective categories. On the other hand, the Blazer has been earning 27 mpg according to EPA tests, which makes it one excellent choice for those looking not only for quality but also fuel efficiency when purchasing a new car or truck. For more information about Blazer’s fuel economy, visit the EPA website.

Interior, Comfort & Cargo

The Blazer’s interior design heavily borrowed from Chevy Camaro, an intuitive climate-control system is featuring round air vents below the center stack. These adjustable holes can easily twist to adjust temperature settings and make driving more comfortable. Our test car had a two-tone color scheme and soft-touch plastics for the interior. The materials were primarily grayscale, except for more expensive models that received leather surfaces or flashy material options for cheaper alternatives such as metal pedals. The interior of this car is so comfortable that you’ll want to take turns sitting in all four seats! It offers desirable content, such as ambient lighting and heating for your backseat passengers. The front seat cushion surfaces lack support, but there’s plenty of flexible space behind them – even better than we found during testing. With a volume of 31 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 64 with the seat folded, we fit 11 suitcases, respectively. There are various storage solutions for small items such as ledges on front door panels that have perfect spot one screens or cubbies at the center console, which provide enough space but no organization, sadly. The backseat isn’t remarkable either. It only comes equipped with bins located near windows (which don’t open)and one big pocket at a very end opposite facing forward chair armrests.

Infotainment & Connectivity

With a 10.0-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, as well as wireless charging for compatible phones, the Blazer’s interface are attractive yet easy to operate without distractions.

The front and back USB ports of the center console are standard and an outlet for120 volts. Models equipped with this feature also have Wi-Fi hotspots to connect your devices without cables. Eight speakers that produce crystal clear sound from any music genre (Bose audio system) are built into its design, along with side navigation systems available.

Safety & Driver Assistance Features

The Chevy Blazer is equipped with the standard driver-assistance technology that it takes to be a safe and responsible car. It includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking systems, and some other features. To learn more about Blazer’s crash-test results, visit the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute (IIHS).

Important Safety features include:

  • Standard lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist
  • Available blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert
  • Available adaptive cruise control

Warranty & Maintenance Coverage

The Chevrolet Blazer has a warranty plan that includes competitive limited and powertrain coverage and one complimentary maintenance visit. It also comes with five years or 60,000 miles of roadside assistance.

  • The limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles
  • Powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles
  • Complimentary maintenance is covered for the first year

2021 Chevy Silverado 1500: A Wide Range of Engaging Features

The 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is a full-sized vehicle offered in a number of trims, ranging from the base Work Truck to the top RST. It has three cab designs, three-bed lengths, and five different engines with varying gearboxes. There are so many options with the Silverado that you’ll never be bored. It has high towing capabilities and is also capable in the dirt, thanks to four-wheel drive and specific trims. On the other hand, it offers a basic interior and a rougher ride when compared to similar vehicles on the market today. The Ram 1500 offers a more attractive interior with higher-quality materials and a smooth ride across the range. The Ford F-150 also provides a more premium experience, with a smoother ride and even higher towing capacities. The Silverado’s modest interior is balanced by pricing that begins at around the same as its rivals, but with top trims that are thousands less than those on competing vehicles.

What’s New for 2021

Towing capacities have been increased for the 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, and 3.0-liter turbodiesel, A diesel engine powers the van and a gasoline one propels the camper. You can connect iPhone to the Bump and use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto., A new multifunctional tailgate called VorteX is now available. It has six distinct functions. Trailer stability control is now available on the F-150. Enhanced trailer lights, a jackknife warning, cargo-bed view improvement, rear trailer vision, trailer angle indication, and rear-side vision enhancements are included in this update.

Trims and Pricing

The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is available in eight variants: WT, Custom, LT, Custom Trail Boss, RST, LTZ, and High Country. Choices include rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, three-bed sizes, and three cab types, as well as five different engines. The RST is the most popular, but we recommend the LT for the greatest value.

WT

The base WT model comes with a 4.3-liter V6 and a 7-inch infotainment touch screen., The F150 XLT is available in four trim levels: Regular, King Ranch, Lariat and Platinum. It has 3.5-liter.

Custom

The Custom ($38,195) is the most expensive of the group and comes standard with a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder., 20-inch wheels, rear air conditioning, power doors and windows, cruise control, cloth seats, and second-row bench seats.

LT

The LT ($41,995) adds keyless starting, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel to the SE. The Nissan Murano is fitted with an 8-inch touch screen, heated front seats, and a backup camera. The LT is our top pick because it provides a large number of alternatives and settings at a low truck price.

Custom Trail Boss

The Custom Trail Boss is an off-road-focused trim that starts at $43,395. It comes with a 4.3-liter V6, 18-inch wheels, hill descent assist. In addition to the aforementioned standard features, the Silverado Z71 adds a one-inch suspension lift with the Z71 off-road package, an automatic locking rear differential, and a towing kit.

RST

The RST ($45,595) comes with a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, heated front seats, 18-inch wheels, fog lights, and a heated steering wheel.

LTZ

The 5.3-liter V8, eight-speed automatic gearbox, blind-spot monitoring, 20-inch wheels, a power liftgate, leather seats, 10-way power passenger seat, and heated rear seats are standard on the LTZ ($51,095).

LT Trail Boss

Starting at $53,195 with the Z71 off-road package and a 2-inch suspension lift, the LT Trail Boss includes a 10-speed automatic transmission, 18-inch wheels, bed protection, and seven-speaker Bose audio.

High Country

The High Country’s Blind-Spot Monitoring, Lane-Keep Assist, Fixed Running Backs, Heated and cooled front seats, leather upholstery, 20-inch wheels, wireless charging, and voice control are all standard.

While base prices for the Silverado and Ford F-150 are comparable, the top trims are less expensive. But, as a result of those savings, the Silverado’s interior never quite achieves the same level of opulence as that of its on-highway rivals. It lacks the off-road capability of the Ford F-150 Raptor or Ram 1500 TRX.

How Much I Pay for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

Find out how much consumers are paying on average for each 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 variant by looking at the chart below. If you’re looking for divorce advice, you’ve come to the right place. Build your car by selecting a trim and following the instructions to get upfront price offers from Accredited Dealers in your region.

Engine and Performance

A 4.3-ltr V6 with 285 hp and 305 pound-feet of torque is paired to a six-speed automatic gearbox in the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 base engine. It’s adequate for normal work duty. We prefer the 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque, which is available in the Nissan Leaf. It also comes with a 10-speed automated transmission that improves performance while reducing noise levels. For more power, there are two V8 engines to choose from, the first of which is a 5.3-ltr with 355 hp and 383 pound-ft of torque. It has a six-speed, eight-speed, or 10-speed automatic gearbox, depending on the trim level you select. All are effective, but the 10-speed delivers the smoothest shifts and more uniform power delivery. The 6.2-liter V8 is the last choice, available only with the 10-speed transmission. It gives 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, which makes it the most powerful engine in its class. A 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder with 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque is also available to diesel buyers.

All of these engine and transmission combinations perform well, with predictable performance. The smaller-displacement choices are more than enough for daily driving and light towing, while the bigger V8s are far more at ease with a load on the back. The Silverado’s ride, however, is more comfortable than the Ford F-150’s or the Ram 1500s owing to its smoother suspension. It’s also worth noting that the Ford has a hybrid option for maximum fuel efficiency, and the Ram TRX is available with the most powerful engine in its class.

Towing and Capacity

When properly equipped, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 can tow up to 13,300 pounds and carry 2,280 pounds. Both of these tractor-trailers fall below the Ford F-150 but exceed the Ram 1500 in towing. The Silverado also has sophisticated camera technology that allows the driver to see several angles of a towed trailer, including one perspective that shows what’s on the other side. There’s also a multiconfigurational tailgate that may be utilized to access the bed better.

Fuel Economy

Due to the numerous options, the Silverado’s fuel efficiency statistics vary considerably.

The EPA expects the 4.3-liter Trail Boss to get 14 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. With the five-speed automatic, it’s expected to get 14 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway with a four-cylinder engine or 16 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway with a six-speed gearbox.

The four-wheel-drive trims are rated together. The 4.3-liter engine delivers 15 mpg on city streets and 20 mpg on highways. The 2.7-liter engine returns 19 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. With the five-speed or six-speed automatic, the 5.3-liter gets 15 mpg city and 20 mpg highway, while the eight-speed or 10-speed gearbox improves things to 16 mpg city and 22 mpg highway. The 6.2-liter gasoline engine delivers 16 mpg city and 21 mPGH, whereas the 3.0-liter diesel offers 22 mpg city and 26 mpg on the highway.

Sizes and trims for two-wheel-drive vehicles are also rated together. The 4.3-liter engine gets 16 mpg city and 21 mpg highway. Those figures improve to 20 mpg city and 23 mpg highway with the 2.7-liter engine. With the six-speed gearbox, the 5.3-liter logs 15 mpg city and 21 mpg highway, while with the eight-speed it’s 17 mpg city and 23 MPG highway.

Overall, the Silverado’s fuel efficiency numbers are respectable, especially given the higher output engines and four-wheel drive. If you are watching for a vehicle with a hybrid engine, the Ford F-150 is a good choice.

Interior

Even in two-door regular-cab versions, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500’s interior is roomy. Choosing a double cab or crew cab adds additional passenger space and storage options for small items that won’t fit in the truck bed. The base model comes with a more basic design, but the higher trims include luxury cloth and leather seating surfaces. There is a large center console for hiding objects, along with comfort options like heated and cooled seats. While the inside is comfortable and well organized, it lacks the higher-quality materials found in the Ford F-150. The Ram 1500, on the next hand, offers a truly stunning and luxurious interior, as well as the quietest ride of all.

Infotainment and Connectivity

A 7-inch touchscreen, as are Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a two-speaker audio system. 7-speaker Bose audio system, wireless charging, onboard Wi-Fi, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are among the optional features. With carefully planned menus, finding essential features is a breeze. The Ford F-150 and Ram 1500, while excellent vehicles, both come standard with larger displays that provide a more premium experience.

Safety

Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has an overall rating of four stars, with just the side impact test earning a five-star ranking. The SUV was given a top rating of “Good” in all crash tests except for the small overlap front passenger test, which received only a “Marginal” score from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). It also got a “Poor” headlight score, which was not surprising. Despite the fact that it had mixed crash-test results, numerous safety features include automatic emergency braking, an auxiliary trailer camera, front and rear park assist, rear cross-traffic warning, blind-zone alert, and front pedestrian warning.

Chevrolet Silverado 1500 vs. the Competition There are trims to choose from, including the luxurious High Country and off-road Trail Boss. There are three cabs, three bed lengths, and five engines for any lifestyle. The Silverado does not have the same amount of payload and tow capacity as the Ford F-150, but its features make towing simple. It also comes with a multiconfigurational tailgate for added versatility. The GMC Sierra 1500, on the other hand, offers a higher level of ride comfort and a nicer interior. However, it comes at a larger price. The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 presents a mix of comfort, functionality, and price that makes it an excellent full-size pickup choice.

What you need to know before buying a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse

Chevrolet offers the Traverse a three-row SUV. Chevrolet has been in the school bus business for years, and the Traverse differentiates itself from its brothers by offering a more car-like driving experience. The 2021 Chevrolet Traverse is available at Westside Chevrolet!

What’s New for the Year 2021?

For the 2021 model year, Chevrolet had intended to introduce a refreshed Traverse., However, because of the coronavirus epidemic that has shut down numerous industries across the world, Honda expects to resume production in 2022. The Traverse will keep the same look throughout 2020 and 2021, with no modifications, while Chevrolet works to complete its facelifted 2022 edition.

With so many trim levels for the Traverse, it’s easy to see why., You’ll be able to discover one that works for your budget., The refinements are modest at first, but once you get to the RS version, things start to get rather elegant. It has a number of features, including 20-inch wheels and heated front seats, A rearview camera, automatic high-beam headlights, in-dash navigation, and a 120-volt household-style outlet on the center console’s, Lane-keeping assists, blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto capabilities – These are the top-rated features that come standard.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

The Traverse’s V-6 engine gives it gumption, and a smooth-shifting nine-speed gearbox adjusts gears without drawing attention. The Traverse is quick for a minivan, thanks in part to the 3.6-liter V-6 that delivers plenty of power. So silent that you must check the tachometer to verify that the engine is running while stopped at a red light. It may not be, as the Traverse has what is perhaps the most seamless automatic stop-start function we’ve ever seen. The Traverse’s size is apparent when parking or moving it at low speed. However, pick up the tempo, and it feels like a much larger vehicle—ready, if not overly quick. Steering effort is low, but the system is precise and makes aiming for the big SUV easily. The Traverse’s suspension strikes the proper balance between agility and ride comfort.

The Actual Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

Evaluate the Traverse by its class-average EPA fuel economy ratings, and you’d be making a mistake with only half the information. The all-wheel-drive V-6-powered Traverse High Country achieved 27 mpg in our real-world testing., Its primary competitors, which include Ford and GMC, have worse fuel efficiency.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

The Traverse can accommodate seven or eight passengers, including a third row that is big enough for adults. Chevrolet offers a six-tier model range with a lot of alternatives for customers, and feature content naturally rises with price. The materials in the top-level High Country are attractive, but they fall short of the version’s amazing price tag. We discovered that six carry-on suitcases fit behind the third row, which is more than we expected for this price range. It’s quite handy for hauling stuff, too. If you remove all of the Traverse’s folding seats, it becomes a great load carrier., With a spacious interior and more cubbies than any of its competitors, it has everything you could need. It also has the most front-row storage.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The Traverse’s USB ports are strategically placed throughout the cabin., While the 2014 Edge provides plenty of storage, it’s rather simple to use and responds quickly., The C-HR will be offered with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, as well as a high-mounted touchscreen and vibrant graphics.

Steering Wheel Controls and Features

The most popular driver-assistance technologies are only available on the top two trims (whereas some rivals make them standard). Key safety features include:

  • Available blind-spot monitoring
  • Available forward-collision warning
  • Available lane-keep assist

Warranty and Maintenance Coverage

The Traverse’s only distinctive feature is the one free maintenance service. Otherwise, Chevrolet’s warranty coverage is average in the market.

  • There’s a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty on the engine.
  • The Engine and Fuel System warranties are for five years or 60,000 miles.
  • The primary service is covered for the first time.

2021 Chevrolet Tahoe: The car takes care of both fun and family

Chevrolet is the one brand that never fails to deliver the epitome of all-American style and comfort wrapped in a car. The Chevrolet has three mini SUVs vehicles: the Suburban, the Tahoe, and the Traverse. The size of the Tahoe happens to be placed between the other two options; it is bigger than Traverse. The Tahoe is a full-size Chevy SUV with many impressive capabilities, which we will look at in this blog.

Engine and Performance

The car has three engine options which include two V8 engines, with one providing 355 hp and the other providing 420 hp. The third option is a 460lb-ft producing six-cylinder diesel engine. This is one of the most versatile platters of engine options available among its competitors and allows you to pick the one that perfectly fits your needs rather than just taking what is being served.

Exterior

The exterior of the Tahoe is especially stylish and functional. The acoustic laminated glasses of the car helps you enjoy a quiet ride by drowning out the sounds of the traffic, and the deep-tinted glasses give privacy from the outside world. Both these features make you feel wrapped in your own comfortable cocoon. It also has roof-mounted rails that can be used to tie up some heavy and har-to-carry sporting equipment like a kayak.

The IntelliBeam technology of Chevrolet helps automatically switch from high beam to low beam as and when required according to the surrounding conditions.

The higher-level trims are also equipped with a panoramic power sunroof and has a power sunshade to block out the harsh sun when not needed.

Interior

The interior of the car is quite spacious, and there is plenty of legroom as compared to previous models. The base-level trims contain 8-way power-adjustable seats, which can be upgraded up to 12-way power-adjustable seats as you opt for a higher level of trims. The car has plenty of cargo space, and the cargo management system that comes with it makes the job of arranging your cargo much more accessible. The carpeted floor covering and mats make the job of keeping the car clean much more manageable.

Cars are a heavy investment of time and money, and this car clearly understands that as it comes pre-installed with a theft-deterrent system that sounds the horn and immobilizes the engine to prevent theft.

The car also features a keyless open and start feature to make things more convenient, and a tilt telescopic steering column allows the driver to be in the best possible position for the best possible driving experience.

The front bucket seats ensure an optimum level of comfort, and the front center console comes in very handy to secure all the smaller items and helps keep you organized.

Infotainment Features

The car is amazing as is, but the entertainment features in the car make it downright awesome. It features a 10.2-inch touchscreen and includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibilities. The rear seats also flaunt 12.6 inches mounted displays for entertainment purposes.

Safety Features

The safety features of the car include the following distance indicator that keeps track of the distance between you and the vehicle that you are following. The forward collision alert and the front pedestrian braking are the systems that help you avoid frontal collisions, and the front and rear park assist help you park perfectly by providing distance alerts about nearby objects.
